Victor Yushchenko grieves Sofiko Chaureli's death

President Victor Yushchenko offered his condolences to relatives and friends of Georgian actress Sofiko Chiaureli who died on March 2 at the age of 70.

“With her bright talent and high professionalism Sofiko Chiaureli won the hearts of more than one generation of viewers. Her unforgettable roles became an ornament of Georgian nation’s artistic property and received world-wide acknowledgment. Bright memory of Sofiko Mikhailovna will forever remain in the hearts of Ukrainians,” Victor Yushchenko said in his telegram, president's press office reported.
