EBRD may grant Lviv EUR 4 million

EBRD may grant Lviv EUR 4 million


The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development may grant to Lviv (West Ukraine) around EUR 4 million for drafting a project on the construction of a high-speed railway, Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi says, according to government press service.

According to Sadovyi, the railway is called to link Lviv with the regional centers of Poland, Germany, Czech Republic and Austria.

An international consortium will be set up to carry out the project, which is designed for five years.
