Vice Prime Minister Ivan Vasyunyk paid visit to Israel


Vice Prime Minister Ivan Vasyunyk and his Israeli counterpart Eliyahu Yishai take up cooperation prospects within the frames of Euro 2012 gearing up.

Paying a working visit to Israel Ivan Vasyunyk held talks with Israeli Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Industry, Trade and Labour Eliyahu Yishai. Mr.Eliyahu Yishai hailed Ukraine with successful joining the World Trade Organization and expressed his hopes that it would stipulate for intensifying of trade and economic relations between our states. Ivan Vasyunyk and Eliyahu Yishai have exchanged views in terms of prospects of creation the free trade zone between Ukraine and Israel as well as collaboration within the scope of gearing up to European Football Championship Euro 2012, Cabinet press service reported.

The sides have reached consent regarding stepping up activity of Ukraine-Israel intergovernmental trade and economic cooperation commission.

Besides, in the process of his working visit Vice Prime Minister Ivan Vasyunyk met with Jerusalem Patriarch Teophilus III.
