President gave interview to Russian mass media

President Viktor Yushchenko gave an interview yesterday in Moscow to Russian information agency “RIA Novosti” and TV channel “Russia Today”. President's press office reports.

During the interview President answered a number of questions about foreign and internal policy of Ukraine.

When asked about issues regarding Ukraine’s debts for gas President Yushchenko replied that he is dissatisfied with Ukrainian side’s implementation of the agreement between him and President Putin of Russia, which said that Ukraine would pay off its debts in time and in full. “As a leader of the state I will always be insisting on the idea that Ukraine may not be allowed to live in debts,” he added.
