“Our Ukraine” to hold political council


The sitting of the Political Council of the “Our Ukraine – People’s Self-Defense” party will take place on March 1.

As the press service of the OU-PSD bloc informs, the corresponding decision was taken at the sitting of the OU-PSD Presidium on February 20. The current political situation was considered at the sitting and the applications of some People’s deputies on their withdrawal from the party were approved.

Earlier, on February 15 head of the President’s Secretariat Viktor Baloha had withdrawn from the party. On February 19 deputy head of the President’s Secretariat, Roman Bezsmertny and People’s deputies, Mykhaylo Polyanchych, Ihor Kryl, Viktor Topolov, Oksana Bilozir and Vasyl Petevka announced about their withdrawal too.

The former members of the OU-PSD notice that some members of the “Our Ukraine” have started to use the party for their own purposes.
