41 People’s deputies entered composition of the Constitutional Council


Today the first sitting of the National Constitutional Council was held. 97 people entered the composition of the Council, although initially it was proposed about 350 candidacies. Secretary of the National Constitutional Council, deputy head of the President’s Secretariat, Maryna Stavniychuk stated. ForUm’s correspondent reports.

According to Stavniychuk, 41 People’s deputies (representatives of all parliamentary factions) entered the composition of the Council, as well as representatives of the unparliamentarily political parties, social organizations and 12 members of the Academy of science.

The secretary of the Constitutional Council also informed that during today’s sitting the composition of the expert group was approved. Members of this group are leading scientists in the sphere of law, sociology, political and other social sciences.
