Tymoshenko doesn’t see tragedy in relations with Yushchenko

Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko states that there is no strategic confrontation between her and President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko, but she thinks that present democratic team may collapse. She stated in an interview with Russian newspaper “Vedomosti”.

“There is no strategic confrontation in the relations Yushchenko – Tymoshenko. At the moment we work with the President in one democratic team. Of course, it is possible to break this team, but for what purpose?” Tymoshenko said.

According to her, the government works successfully today. “And I’m ready to support Viktor Yushchenko one term of presidency more, if I am able to carry out real reforms, as the head of the government,” the Prime Minister noted.

According to Tymoshenko, in every democratic country with any political system “the discussions can take place between the heads of the country”. “This is normal, and this is not a tragedy,” she considers.
