President pleased with Russia-Ukraine talks

Making his comments on the results of Ukraine-Russia Commission meeting Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko said: “I am much satisfied with the spirit and nature of the talks. Mutual understanding, which was reconfirmed, is very important for us to speak about perspectives of our bilateral relation development”. President’s press office reports.

Viktor Yushchenko also stressed importance of signing of Russia-Ukraine Target Plan 2009 saying that it gives opportunity to present an adequate answer to many complicated questions in bilateral relations between two countries. “I am very happy that we launched the mechanism of the Commission and that today we have before us a very clear plan of our bilateral relations development for 2008 and following years,” he said.
