President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin has proposed Ukraine to unite efforts in the fuel-energy complex. He has stated today at the second sitting of the Intergovernmental Ukrainian-Russian commission.
Putin has reminded that considerable export flows of gas and oil are passed through the territory of Ukraine. According to him, that’s why Ukraine and Russia must unite efforts in this sphere.
He considers that there are all technological preconditions – technological and administrative conditions. “The most important is to mobilize the political will,” Putin said.
Besides, Putin considers that Ukraine and Russia must not only solve the problem questions, but also develop the prospect plans for the further cooperation.
The President of the RF has emphasized that for Russia Ukraine is important trade and economic partner. He has reminded that the turnover between two countries has grown by 20% last year. “I think there are favorable prospects for development of cooperation in such spheres as atomic energetic, space, aircraft construction, and agrarian spectrum,” Putin said.
He has noted that Ukraine and Russia, as the big European countries, bear responsibility for stability and safety in Europe, and this must be the subject of constant dialog between two countries.
