Tymoshenko: Russia will not cut off gas supply


Russia will not cut off gas supply to Ukraine. Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko has stated at the press-conference on Monday, ForUm’s correspondent reports.

According to Tymoshenko, first vice PM of Russia Sergey Ivanov informed.

The Yulia Tymoshenko has noted that such statement of the Russian side is the result of negotiations, which were held on Sunday. “These are very good news… Today we will be able to calm Ukraine that the gas cutoff can not take place, because there are no reasons for this. We have no contracts with Russia or the “RosUkrEnergo”.

Besides, the head of the government has informed that the delegation of the “Naftogaz” company, headed by Oleh Dubina, hold negotiations with “Gazprom” company so that to prove that Ukraine “hasn’t taken any drop of Russian gas”.
