Yatsenyuk hopes VRU to ratify protocol on Ukraine’s joining WTO

Yatsenyuk hopes VRU to ratify protocol on Ukraine’s joining WTO

Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk hopes that the VRU will ratify the protocol on Ukraine’s joining World Trade Organization by the constitutional majority. He stated on Thursday in an interview with journalists.

According to Yatsenyuk, “if this document is not ratified by the constitutional majority, this will be the example of inconsistency, and even lie of some of political forces.”

At the same time Yatsenyuk doesn’t exclude some confrontations during the ratification. According to him, “someone will speak about negative consequences from Ukraine’s joining WTO”.

VRU chairman reminded that main political forces, the Party of Regions, the OU-PSD and the BYuT, participated actively in the process of preparation of Ukraine’s joining WTO. That’s why he hopes that the constitutional majority will vote for the ratification.
