Tymoshenko congratulated Ukrainians on accession to the WTO

Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko has congratulated members of Cabinet and all Ukrainians on accession to the WTO. She said that today opening the Cabinet session, the ForUm’s correspondent informs.

Tymoshenko noted that it is a historical event for our country. According to PM, her team made efforts for this.

She noted that now new opportunities for Ukraine in world economic environment are opened. The next step must be joining free trade zone with the EU. Tymoshenko is sure that the country is able to reach this stage.

As a reminder, yesterday President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko and Director General of the WTO Pascal Lame have signed Protocol on Ukraine’s accession to the WTO.
