Russia doesn’t consider Ukraine as obstacle on its way to WTO


Russia welcomes Ukraine’s joining the World Trade Organization. The adviser of the Russian agency under the international organizations Yuriy Afanasyev stated before the sitting of the general council of the WTO in Geneva.

Afanasyev forecasts that Russia will become a member of the world organization in July too.

“We welcome Ukraine’s joining, we are very glad,” he said.

He has expressed assurance that Ukraine will not raise any conditions and claims to Russia on its way to the WTO.
