Chechetov: Joining WTO without any mitigation measures is too high price

People’s deputy from Party of Regions Mykhaylo Chechetov considers that instead of developing implementation of complex measures for Ukraine’s joining the WTO, the government makes populism and adopts political decisions. He said that today in an interview for ForUm.

He noted that it is very important for our commodity producers because flow of cheap goods, which will flood the Ukrainian market after reduction of customs duties, first of all will strike them.

"For today the situation is very complicated. There are no measures which would protect our commodity producers. In conditions of high competition of foreign goods, our enterprises will stop their work. It seems that government is not concerned about home economy. Joining WTO without any mitigation measures is too high price,” he added.
