Tymoshenko met with Agriculture Minister of France


Yesterday Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko held a meeting with Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries of France Michel Barnier and discussed bilateral trade-economic cooperation and European integration of Ukraine, government press service reported.

Yulia Tymoshenko noted that today Ukraine has a unique chance when a President, Government and parliament coalition represent one team. The PM told Michel Barnier about key priorities of the draft Action Program of Government.

Touching upon Eurointegration Michel Barnier noted that Ukraine can always count on the support of France in this process. According to him, creation of the free trade area between Ukraine and the EU and deepening of economic cooperation are very important at this point.

Besides, he noted that Ukraine has a unique opportunity in agriculture and France is ready to render assistance in creation of necessary normative-legal basis.
