Kyiv metro to be provided with video screens

After recent accidents in Kyiv metro, in particular long stop of metro trains, breakdown in metro station “Chernihivska”, attempts of commitment of suicide in “Vokzal station”, fire of coach in “Teatralna” station, heads of Kyiv metro decided to increase security of passengers.

According to head of “Kyiv metropolitan” Petro Myroshnykov, all stations as well as coaches will be equipped with video screens. Security system and fire signaling will also be improved.
