Yushchenko predicts new headache for politicians

President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko states that the question on energy safety on the European continent must be depoliticized and single plan on energy policy must be created.

“First of all, I think this question must be depoliticized. On the other hand, when we speak about the European continent and energy safety, we must speak about single energy policy in the world, and in this case, in Europe,” Yushchenko stated in an interview with CNN channel on Wednesday in Davos.

According to President Yushchenko, the question on energy safety will become very sharp soon.

“It will be another headache for politicians and relief may come only when we come to the single approved procedures of full circle on extraction, sale and transit (of energy resources – ed),” President of Ukraine said.
