Yanukovych to meet with Yatsenyuk today

Leader of the Party of Regions plans to meet with chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk. Yanukovych told journalists after the sitting of the opposition government.

“This is a scheduled meeting and we will demand such meetings of the opposition to become traditional with representatives of the VRU before the plenary sessions,” Yanukovych said.

He has noted that the chairman of the parliament must cooperate not only with the coalition, but also with the opposition, in particular, to take into account the demands of the opposition to consider the question on Ukraine’s joining Action Plan on membership in NATO, and the question of resignation of Yuriy Lutsenko from the position of the Interior Minister.
