CPU demands referendum concerning NATO

People’s deputy from CPU Olexander Holub considers Ukraine’s membership in NATO is inadmissible. He said that today in an interview with ForUm’s correspondent.

Holub noted that in this case there will be bid of our sovereignty, our interest and territory which will be used by the USA and other western countries for confrontation with Russia. It is not favorable for us not from economic or from political point of view.

According to Holub, more than 70% of Ukrainians stand against membership in NATO, that’s why such decision of “oranges” factions would be a war against their people.

“On this issue the CPU will act together with PR. It is necessary to hold referendum on membership in NATO in order to put an end to this issue once and for all,” he noted.
