Communists threaten to block VRU podium

In case the VRU speaker Arseniy Yatsenyuk does not withdraw his signature from the letter to the NATO Secretary General Mr. Jaap de Hoop Scheffer concerning Ukraine’s joining Action plan on membership in NATO, then Communist party will block VRU podium. People’s deputy from CPU Alla Alexandrovska informed today in the parliament, the ForUm’s correspondent informs.

Alexandrovska reminded that only after statement of American senator Richard G. Lugar we knew about this letter to NATO Secretary General.

According to her, PM Yulia Tymoshenko and VRU speaker Arseniy Yatsenyuk hold secret policy behind Ukrainian people. CPU faction is indignant at actions of Tymoshenko and Yatsenyuk.

“I, on behalf of the whole faction, demand to withdraw your signature under this document,” she said addressing the VRU chairman. Otherwise, communists will express distrust to the VRU chairman.
