On Tuesday the Party of Regions registered in the Verkhovna Rada the draft bill on cancellation of the People’s deputies’ benefits. The press service of the Party of Regions informs.
According to the press service, the document repeats the bases, principles and initiatives, which were approved by the Coalition of the national unity in September last year.
At the same time “as the President didn’t sign the adopted by the coalition law, the Party of Regions today returns to the vote in the Verkhovna Rada and stands for cancellation of all People’s deputies benefits once and for all,” the statement says.
As earlier reported, on Tuesday the “Our Ukraine-People’s Self-Defense” faction also registered the draft bill on cancellation of the People’s deputies benefits in the parliament.
According to faction’s leader Vyacheslav Kyrylenko, the document “foresees the cancellation for the People’s deputies of free of charge accommodation, free of charge monthly tickets, free of charge elite health resorts and groundless payments’ of many thousand.”
