“Winter swimmers” of all Ukraine will gather in Prykarpattya

On January 19 (Epiphany) the festival of winter swimmers will take place in Ivano-Frankivsk region in the village of Polyanytsa in ski resort “Bukovel”. Fans of winter swimming from different regions will participate in this festival.

The program of the festival foresees festive divine service and blessing of water, ceremonial opening of the festival, swimming of winter swimmers, awarding of participant with memorable letters of commendation and presents.

The guests of the festival will see cultural program with participation of real Zaporozhye Cossacks and folk-ethnographic group “Malanka”.

In the evening there will be Guzul dancing, festivities near the fire, games and entertainments.
