President Viktor Yushchenko met today with “Our Ukraine – Public Self Defense” Bloc members along with Cabinet of Ministers members and their deputies who were appointed by Bloc’s proposals. President's press office reports.
During the meeting Viktor Yushchenko focused on mechanisms of action coordination between Presidential Secretariat and “OU – PSD” executive power representatives.
First of all President suggested that such meetings became regular on weekly basis and were held at Presidential Secretariat. Yuriy Yekhanurov was appointed the coordinator of such meetings.
Viktor Yushchenko also called upon fraction to demonstrate consolidated position on all questions and put a range of top priority tasks in different fields before it. One of these tasks is to revise 2008 budget as well ass safeguarding favorable macroeconomic climate which would result in no less that 7-8% of GDP growth.
Verkhovna Rada Speaker Arseniy Yatsenyuk and Presidential Secretariat Chief of Staff Viktor Baloha also took part in the meeting.
