Governmental commission accused 11 officials of responsibility for the accidentv

Governmental commission on investigation of reasons of accidents in Zasyadko mine accused 11 officials, who are guilty of violations and non-fulfillment of obligations.

“We could not agree with fact that reason of the tragedy in Zasyadko mine was only accident, that’s why we held additional enquiry. It is unprecedented accident in Ukraine’s history with death toll of 107 miners. We will not make curtsies before those who broke or did not fulfill their duties. There are 11 such persons in the act,” chairman of governmental commission on investigation of accident’s reasons in Zasyadko mine Olexander Turchynov informed on Monday.

Zasyadko mine is still under special control of State industry supervision.

As a reminder, in November-December 2007 three accidents happened in Zasyadko mine in Donetsk region. Death toll comprised more than hundred miners. Many miners got serious injuries and are still in hospitals.
