OU-PSD supports prolongation of first session of the VRU

“Our Ukraine-People’s Self-Defense” faction supports initiative of President Viktor Yushchenko to prolong work of the first session of the VRU of VI convocation. Chairman of OU-OSD faction Vyacheslav Kyrylenko informed today.

According to him, first of all parliament must adopt a range of draft bills, submitted by the President as urgent ones. “The country needs reforms in social, economic, humanitarian spheres. The parliament must provide legislative field to hold these reforms,” Kyrylenko said.

As a reminder, earlier President Viktor Yushchenko insisted on cancellation of parliamentarians winter recess. According to Viktor Yushchenko, some urgent tasks stand before Verkhovna Rada therefore he proposed that deputies prove their will to effectively work for the good of nation and not interrupt their legislative work.
