Tymoshenko stands for referendum on NATO


Cabinet of Ukraine considers that it is reasonable to take a decision concerning Ukraine’s accession to NATO on results of national referendum. It is said in revised program on government’s activity, publicized on government site on Thursday.

Priority tasks for government are completion of process on Ukraine’s accession to the WTO, holding negotiations with the EU on free trade zone between Ukraine and the EU and mutually beneficial cooperation with NATO and joining it

Governmnet and coalition are responsible for continuation of foreign-policy course including strategic aims of the European integration and taking decision concerning Ukraine’s accession to NATO at the same time preserving equal and good relations with Russia and other neighboring countries.
