Ukraine and EU to form supervisory committee on visa regime simplification

Ukraine and the European Union have agreed to form a committee which will observe the implementation of the agreement on visa regime simplification. Director of the consular service Department of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine Borys Bazilevsky stated at today’s press conference.

According to him, it is planned to elaborate rules and procedure of work of this committee.

He has informed that at next sitting of this committee in March-April, 2008 analysis of implementation of the agreement on visa regime simplification will be carried out.

Bazilevsky has also informed that today during negotiations with representatives of the European commission the agreement was achieved to elaborate document which could foresee rules of implementation of agreement on visa regime simplification.
