NATO expecting to develop relations with Ukraine


NATO expects further development of relations with Ukraine, ransoming form returns of snap parliamentary election in Ukraine. This was disclosed by NATO Assistant Secretary General Martin Erdman. According to him, the issue will be in question at a sitting of the Ukraine - NATO commission at the level of foreign ministers in Brussels on December 7, Government’s press office reports.

According to Erdman, NATO thanks Ukraine for its contribution into missions under the aegis of the Alliance. This contribution is of a greet value and we consider a prospect to proceed this work in the contest of an intensified dialogue and special partnership between Ukraine and NATO, he said. He also noted that NATO officials seeks to meet with Foreign Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk to exchange views on further development of relations between Ukraine and NATO and expect Arseniy Yatsenyuk to express his view. After the Cabinet reshuffle we will develop bipartite relations with Ukraine, Martin Erdman said.

He also reminded that NATO's Brussels-based HQ lacks in Head of the Ukrainian Mission within NATO.
