Leaders of Romania to visit Ukraine next year

Leaders of Romania will visit Ukraine in 2008. President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko informed at a press conference in Bucharest.

Yushchenko noted that during his official visit to Romania he agreed with the Romanian side to determine “road map” for 2 years concerning further actions on development of relations in all spheres between two countries.

According to the President, year 2008 will be diplomatically very active. In particular, the visits of President of Romania Trajan Basescu, Prime Minister of Romania Calin Popescu, and Parliament’s Senate Representative of Romania Nikolaou Vecera are planned to take place.

Yushchenko also reminded that yesterday on October 30 at the sitting of the first Ukrainian-Romanian presidential commission the protocol was signed, where the ways of problem questions solutions were determined and the directions of cooperation development were outlined, first of all in economic sphere.
