EU appreciates coalition formation in Ukraine

The European Commissioner for External Relations and European Neighbourhood Policy Benita Ferrero-Waldner appreciates information on coalition formation in Ukraine

“I appreciate announcement on coalition formation after early parliamentary elections results,” she stated in her commentary.

She has noted that future Ukrainian government has serious challenges on the way of constitutional, political and economic reforms.

Ferrero-Waldner also has noted that the European Commission is ready to be with Ukraine on this way.

As a reminder, yesterday BYuT and “OU-PSD’ bloc leaders signed an agreement on democratic coalition formation

According to official elections results, BYuT has 156 seats in the parliament, “OU-PSD” bloc has 72 seats.
