BYuT collected 7 million signatures for referendum

BYuT collected 7 million signatures for referendum


7 million 153 thousand signatures for holding a national referendum concerning new version of Ukraine’s constitution are collected throughout Ukraine. BYuT leader Yulia Tymoshenko said that today at a press conference in Rivne region.

BYuT is ready to pass these signatures to the President, and he, using article 72 of the Constitution of Ukraine, has right to issue a decree on Ukrainian referendum.

For this referendum BYuT proposes to set 9 questions, including form of governing, elections of judges, cancellation of immunity for heads of the State, judges and People’s deputies, strengthening of fight against corruption.
