Yanukovych will not permit officials to enrich themselves at the expense of people

Prime Minister of Ukraine, leader of the Party of Regions Viktor Yanukovych proposes to forbid the buyup of land by big corporations. Yanukovych stated on air on “Vynnychyna” TV channel.

“It is necessary to adopt such laws, which will prohibit the buyup of land by big corporations, both domestic and foreign corporations,” the PM noted.

According to Yanukovych, during the land reform, officials shouldn’t sell land, because this process should be under the control of the society.

“We shouldn’t permit officials to enrich themselves at the expense of people,” he added.

Yanukovych thinks that the society should devote much attention to the question on land sale.
