Foreign Ministry optimistically estimates Ukraine-EU negotiations process


Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Andriy Veselovsky predicts that new strengthen agreement between Ukraine and the European Union may have been concluded by the end of 2008. He has stated today at the press conference in Kyiv.

“Optimists say the negotiations may have been finished this summer or probably in the end of the next year,” deputy Minister said.

According to Veselovsky, five rounds of negotiations concerning agreement have been already held; the next round will take place in October in Brussels. At the moment of the document signing the collaboration by cooperation sectors will have already existed.
