Yushchenko: Law-enforcement bodies became a mechanism of corrupted power

President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko calls law-enforcement bodies to activate work against corruption and to be out of policy and not to be afraid of officials. It is impossible to live in such corruption. It does not allow the country to develop,” he said, ForUm's correspondnet informs.

President noted that it was always not easy to serve in law-enforcement structures. It is hard work that demands high professionalism, devotion and patriotism.

“You became a mechanism of corrupted power,” Yushchenko said, addressing the law-enforcement bodies.

President noted that today trust to the law-enforcement bodies is declined. ”We must have coordinated plan for all the law-enforcement bodies on struggle against crimes and corruption. You must return people’s trust,” he stressed.

Yushchenko calls the law-enforcement bodies to provide fair and transparent elections and not to stand to this or that political force side.
