Israel to introduce non-visa regime for Ukrainians


Visa regime simplification between Ukraine and Israel will be introduced within 2 years, representative of the Israeli Foreign Ministry Yariv Ovadja said.

The special inter-ministerial commission of the Israeli government recommended to abolish visas for Russians. Israeli Tourism Minister Yitzhak Aharonovich, who has initiated the regime, hailed the decision.

In case the regime will prove its success it will be launched in regard with Ukraine in 2008.

Head of the Israel -Ukraine Chamber of Commerce Lev Levayev said that the non-visa regime will enable to boost trade turnover with the CIS at least twice.
