Secretariat: Government does not cope with problems of agricultural complex


Government has many problems in sphere of agricultural complex. First deputy head of the President’s Secretariat Olexander Shlapak said that today at a briefing, the ForUm’s correspondent informs.

“Government has significant and system problems in agricultural complex,” he said.

According to Shlapak, for last half a year agricultural complex had no serious reforms. “Moreover, Ukraine will have unpleasant consequences due to limited grain export this year,” he said.

Shlapak noted that there are also problems on meat import. “We already have losses in amount of UAH 160 million because of nonpayment of VAT and corresponding customs payments, and correspondently we have putrescence of our Ukrainian animal husbandry,” he added.
