Yushchenko set ultimatum to parliament


In case the VRU does not realize political agreements, early parliamentary elections will take place in 60 days, the President Viktor Yushchenko told today in Croatia at the joint press conference with Stepan Mesich the Croatian President.

Yushchenko expressed hope that the parliament will adopt necessary draft bill for early elections today.

“Otherwise, BYuT and Our Ukraine will formalize people’s deputies resignation and in 60 days the elections should take place in accordance with the Constitution,” he said.
