Yatsenyuk: Ukraine still going to NATO


The Foreign Minister of Ukraine Arseny Yatsenyuk assures NATO that Ukraine is still aiming at the Euro Atlantic integration. He told today in Oslo at the beginning of unofficial sitting Ukraine-NATO at the Foreign Ministries level.

“Ukraine’s strategic course at the Euro Atlantic integration is determined by the national legislation. This information was confirmed both by the President and the PM,” Yatsenyuk said.

He also noted that continuation of intensive political dialogue between Ukraine and countries-members of NATO is the main constituent of bilateral relations development.

Yatsenyuk thanked NATO for assistance in action plan implementation for 2007.

The minister also noted that Ukraine was and remains the reliable partner of NATO on stability provision and promotion of democratic values.
