Anti-crisis coalition ahs been officially renamed


The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine announced a decision on formation of the coalition of national unity. The statement on coalition formation says that deputies will join it by individual order.

Prime Minister Yanukovych earlier noted that formation of new coalition provides for number increase of its members. “We take very serious step on broadening of our coalition, forming new coalition – the coalition of national unity,” Yanukovych said at the session of the government.

Parliamentary majority includes Party of Regions (185 deputies), Socialist Party (31), Communist Party (21).

Erlier leader of the Party of Industrials and Entrepreneurs Anatoly Kinakh, who was appointed Economy Minister in Yanukovych’s government, did not exclude that his deputies, who are the members of Our Ukraine faction (eight deputies) might join the new coalition.
