Yanukovych: Hungary envies Ukraine’s economic growth

“Yesterday I was in Hungary and held very interesting talks with the Prime Minister and the President of Hungary. I am telling you that they dream of that someday economy of Hungary will grow the same as Ukraine’s one. They have quite complicated situation and zero growth,” the Premier noted.

According to him, having heard of how Ukrainian government works and what plans it poses, government of Hungary declared intention to study Ukrainian experience at the level of a bilateral commission.

Yanukovych also noted that the work under the strategy of Ukraine’s development till 2011 was almost over. “We are on the last lap, and I want to ask Ministry of Economy and the whole economic bloc of the government to take part in the work at this stage and to work out a system of public hearings with bringing in deputies’ corps and the coalition,” he said.
