Yanukovych left for Hungary


The Prime Minister of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych pays one-day official visit to Hungary today.

In the scope of the visit, the official Ukrainian delegation is going to discuss perspectives of cooperation of two countries in energy, transport, privatization and investment spheres and also to sign a number of bilateral agreements.

The Ukrainian PM is accompanied by the Fuel and Energy Minister Yury Boyko, the Transport and Communication Minister Mykola Rudkovsky, the Economy Minister Volodymyr Makukha, the chairman of the State Property Fund Valentyna Semenyuk and also other officials.

The meeting of Yanukovych with the Prime Minister of Hungary Ferenc Gyurcsány that foresees signing of “Plan of mutual actions of the Cabinet of Ukraine and the Government of Hungary for 2007” is on the agenda.

The Representatives of two countries are expected to sign a number of agreements: Protocol of joint committee on economic cooperation between Ukraine and Hungary, Memorandum and Agreement on cooperation in investment sphere.

After signing the agreements Yanukovych and Gyurcsány will hold common press conference.

In the afternoon the Prime Ministers of Ukraine and Hungary will participate in business forum in “Intercontinental” hotel.

The meeting of Yanukovych with the Hungarian President Laslo Shojom is also scheduled.

After this, Yanukovych will put a wreath on the Monument of Unknown Warrior.
