Yanukovych assures PACE Reporters of stable and predictable political situation in Ukraine


Situation in Ukraine is stable and predictable, Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych told a meeting with PACE Reporters Hanne Severinsen and Renate Wohlwend and Secretary of the PACE Monitoring Committee Ivi-Triin Odrats. We believe the situation is stable indeed. Ukraine is seeing a natural process, resulting from presidential and parliamentary elections, the Prime Minister stressed, “Cabinet press office” informs.

The Prime Minister explained he meant enactment of a new redaction of the Constitution. The new Constitution was enacted on January 1, 2006, Viktor Yanukovych stressed.

He believes statements of some politicians on likely early election resemble political ads.

Viktor Yanukovych stated his intention to hear opinions of the PACE Reporters on situation in Ukraine.
