Day of Europe to take place on March 19 in Kyiv

Not only countries of the EU but also potential candidates on accession into the EU will participate in celebration of day of Europe in Kyiv that will take place on March 19. The Ambassador of the EU Ien Bowg told.

“27 countries will participate: 23 countries from the European Union and some others who are negotiating on accession to the EU – Croatia, Turkey and other potential candidates,” he said.

Bowg held a meeting with the representatives of Kyiv city administration today and discussed culture program of the fest.

According to the Ambassador, now negotiation are carried out on participation of the European bands in the fest, but he didn’t called any names, having referred that agreement are not signed yet.
