Ukraine increased army financing

The State budget of Ukraine for 2007 foresees UAH 8.627 milliard to maintain and development of the Armed Forces of Ukraine that is by 37.5% more that in 2006

Increase of expenses of the budget 2007 for maintenance of the Armed Forces of Ukraine envisages necessity to continue and speed up their further formation and development, UNIAN informed.

The funds are increased and allocated to improve combativity of the Ukrainian army and to develop of armaments and military technics.

Now the Defense Ministry analyzes condition of monetary provision of the military men of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the purpose of gradual increase of its level within the state budget.
