World Bank intends to resume cooperation with Ukraine


The World Bank intends to resume cooperation with Ukraine in order to support it, World Bank Vice President for Europe and Central Asia Shigeo Katsu told a meeting with Speaker Olexander Moroz, “Cabinet press office” informed.

Shigeo Katsu reasoned his negations with Ukrainian high ranking officials, as ones, targeted at development of bipartite cooperation.

Kyiv also host a sitting of The World Bank leadership for Europe and Central Asia.

He also noted reforms, presently, taking place in Ukraine will have a gradual result.

In turn, Olexander Moroz noted cooperation prospects increasingly depend upon neighborhood with the World Bank. According to Olexander Moroz, Ukraine seek close cooperation with the World Bank.

Olexander Moroz informed Shigeo Katsu the Government has already established the "UkrAtomEnergo" company, which will encourage modernization of the energy sector in Ukraine.

The Speaker also stated his conviction Ukraine's economy proceeds growing and developing. As a prove is January inflation of 0.5%.
