EU to provide 2 m. euros for new project to combat human trafficking in Ukraine


The EU has launched a two-year project, aimed at combating human trafficking in Ukraine and Moldova through social and economic reintegration and authorities' support in fighting the crime off, “Cabinet press office” reported.

The project is being fulfilled by the International Organization for Migration and is evaluated at 2 M. Euros.

The project aims at establishing human trafficking survivors and secures medical, psychological, legal and financial rehabilitation.

Over 90 religious and public organizations are supposed to take part in the project.

The International Organization for Migration provided services for over 5,000 survivors in Ukraine and Moldova.
