President appointed new Ambassadors to Bulgaria, India, Pakistan and Belarus

President Viktor Yushchenko has signed decrees on appointment of new Ukrainian Ambassador to Bulgaria, India and Pakistan, Cabinet press office reported.

Viktor Kalnyk has been appointed Ukraine's Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Bulgaria, Ihor Polikha to India and Ihor Paska to Pakistan.

Yushchenko has also signed a decree on appointment of Ihor Likhovyi Ukraine's Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Belarus.

Before the appointment Likhovyi held the post of chief of the service for preserving the national cultural heritage within the Secretariat of President. Between September 2005 to November 2006 he was Minister for Culture and Tourism.
