Ukraine and Russia to build autobahn together

The Transport Ministries of Russia and Ukraine agreed to carry out common construction of autobahn “Kyiv-Moscow”. Olexander Moroz the head of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine told during the meeting with the Transport Ministers of Ukraine Mykola Rudkovsky and of Russia Igor Levitin.

“We held constructive negotiations concerning development of Ukrainian-Russian cooperation in transport and communications sphere. Questions on auto connections, in particular construction of autobahn “Kyiv-Moscow”, were discussed,” Moroz said. According to him, it will allow carrying out transportations by autos, but not by railways only, that will be much effective for Ukraine and Russia.

Moroz also noted that the VR will support legislatively all necessary initiatives for construction of autobahn “Kyiv-Moscow”. “Such cooperation will be supported by the Ukrainian Parliament legislatively,” Moroz said.
