Ukraine hosting first planning conference to prepare Sea Breeze 2007 naval exercises

Odesa hosted opening of the first planning conference for preparing bilateral Ukrainian-American naval exercises Sea Breeze 2007, Cabinet press office reported.

The maneuvers are supposed to be held in summer 2007 in territorial waters and on military ranges of Ukraine. They are held within the framework of the NATO program "Partnership for Peace".

The exercises will be held in compliance with the Individual Partnership Program between the Ukrainian and US Defense Ministries for 2007 and the International Plan of Military Cooperation of the Ukrainian Navy.
