Moroz has not promulgated Cabinet law

Today the newspapers “Governmental courier” and “Voice of Ukraine” have been published without text of the Law “On Cabinet of Ukraine, UNIAN informs.

As a reminder, on January 19 the President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko vetoed the law of the Cabinet again, adopted by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on January 12 by overriding Presidential veto.

On January 22 Mukachevo regional court of Transcarpathian region investigated suit of member of “Our Ukraine” Ihor Krol against the Verkhovna Rada about admitting illegal actions of the speaker of the VR in case he signs the law on the Cabinet. The court forbade the speaker of the VR to sign the law adopted on January 12.

On January 23 Olexander Moroz the speaker of the VR noted that the law on the Cabinet will be promulgated in accordance with the Constitution. According to him, if the President doesn’t sign the law, the speaker of the VR “must promulgate it”.
